Embroidered Stories — Atelier of Bespoke Embroidery logo

Handcrafted Embroidery

Embroidered Stories — bespoke hand-stitched pieces that hold memory, material and a quiet modern craft.

We design small runs and one-off commissions with premium threads, archival fabrics and a patient process. Each piece is a narrative object — refined, lasting, and subtly personal.

Our Atelier

is a company officially registered in and operates in accordance with the laws of and the norms of the European Union.

Founded by a textile conservator and a designer, we translate tradition into contemporary form. Work is planned in small batches: thread selection, colour samples, and hand-finishing are documented and shared during every consultation. We focus on longevity — natural fibers, archival backing, and repairable construction.

Premium Materials

Natural linens, silk threads and hand-dyed floss chosen for resilience and subtlety; every sample is photographed and archived.

Slow, Transparent Process

Milestones shared at design, stitch and finish stages. Timelines are conservative to respect craft integrity.

Conservation Standards

Techniques adapted from textile conservation ensure reversible treatments and careful backing suited to heirloom use.

Bespoke Consultation

We listen to stories, then sketch and sample — small trials before final execution, so each piece feels intentional.

Our Story

From a shared bench in a small studio, the practice grew out of repair work and private commissions. Early projects were quiet: mending a heirloom jacket, re-threading faded initials, composing small tableau that restored meaning.

We learned to listen: what object matters, why it matters, and how the stitch can extend its life. That attention shaped a method — sample, test, stitch, document. Over the years we refined a language of restraint: restrained palettes, considered stitches, and surfaces that age gracefully. Clients come with memories and leave with an object that holds them.

Today the atelier balances commissions, limited collections and teaching. Each commission is framed as a conversation: we propose material, technique and a timeline that honors both craft and client. The result is not merely decorative; it is practical, durable and quietly exacting.
